“Hiroki Shibata’s Open Mic”

Doors Open/Start: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Cover Charge: ¥2,000 (includes one drink; entry is free)

Any performance you can do in front of a microphone is welcome!

Acoustic guitar and vocals, piano and vocals, ukulele and vocals
Poetry readings, manzai comedy, stand-up comedy, magic tricks, and more

One song per entry
(Please keep your performance to about 7 minutes, including setup time.)

First-time entrants get priority, but you can enter as many times as you like.
Acoustic guitars and electric pianos are always available.
You can also bring your own music device (such as an iPod) with a headphone jack
and sing along to your own karaoke tracks.

If you love to sing but haven’t had many chances to perform in front of an audience,
or if you’re taking lessons in singing, guitar, ukulele, or another instrument and want to show off what you’ve learned,

From beginners to veterans—
If you want to sing, come on in!!
Of course, you’re more than welcome to just watch or have a drink!!
It’s the perfect place to make new friends.
